+114 Hi Cathy, first red flag would be that you’re not consuming enough calories. I would try upping your calorie intake a bit with good fat and proteins sources and see if that helps!
You can look at the ketogenic diet as a form of ‘fasting with food’, as made evident by the fact that fasting will actually put you into ketosis. Fasting depletes your body of carbs just like when following a ketogenic diet, and in both cases your body will enter nutritional ketosis. I’m a picky vegetarian and was looking into your 2 week plan. I rarely do eggs so the smoothies with raw eggs or egg powder wouldn’t be an option for me. I could pretty much do everything else on the meal plan but open to suggestions for the smoothie. Currently I make smoothies all the time w fresh fruits ( banana, strawberries, mango, oranges, grapes, anything I have in the house) and almond milk.
